In order to develop the food processing industries and their export and encourage modernization of the same, Government of India, through APEDA has laucnhed several schemes to support and expedite the development of the food processing industries

Benefits

40% capital investment subsidy on projects related to cold storage/treatment/Quality Control and testing in agro industries for projects/machines ranging from INR 4 lakh to INR 1 Crore

Eligibility

There are several terms and conditions to be eligibile to avail benefits of the scheme. However, in general, the financial assistance scheme under APEDA can be availed by registered exporters or other organizations such as FPOs, Central/State agencies etc.
