The scheme aims to provide basic social security to Widows who do not have anyone to depend on for livelihood/income
This scheme helps ensure a stable source of income for widowed women who may not have any other means of financial support.
The scheme provides financial assitance of INR 1250 per month to widows. The money is deposited in their bank account.
The applicant has to be widow with the age above 18 years

For this scheme, the application form should be filled out with the mentioned evidence and details, and it should be submitted to the relevant Mamalatadar office for approval. Approval is subject to verification by the officer in charge.
