Objective

To provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers to help them purchase seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs, thereby improving their productivity and livelihood.

Objective

To provide assured income support to all eligible farmer families in India so that they can meet their agricultural and domestic needs.

Benefits

Each eligible farmer family receives ₹6,000 per year as income support. The amount is paid in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each directly into the farmer’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility

All small and marginal landholding farmer families are eligible. The land must be registered in the farmer’s name. Institutional landholders, government employees, and income taxpayers are not eligible.
