Beneficiary Type: Craftsman / Handicraft Artisan
This scheme aims to supply self-employment to the unemployed persons in urban and rural areas. Disabled and blind persons are also eligible to take benefits under this scheme. This is scheme for providing financial assistance to the craftsmen of Cottage Industries through Nationalised Banks, Co- operative banks, public sector banks or private sector banks
to provide financial assistance for self-employment opportunities, especially for unemployed youth, women, disabled individuals, and other eligible groups, helping them start small businesses or industries.
A loan of max 8 lakh for businesses with rate of subsidy on loan ranging from 25% to 40%
Should be between 18 and 65 years of age and should have passed minimum 4th Standard or Should have training for minimum 3 months in private establishment or 1 month in government recognized institutes in the area of proposed business or should have experience of minimum 1 year in the same activity
Application form filled along with following documents: 1) Election card/Aadhar card, 2) Birth certificate/school leaving certificate, 3) Last mark sheet, 4) Caste certificate, 5) Disability certificate, 6) Training/experience certificate, 7) Quotation of the machinary/equipment/tool to be purchased along with TIN/VAT number, 8) Proof of the business location (rent agreement, house tax etc). The applicaiton miust be submitted to District Industry Center (DIC or Jilla Udyog Kendra)
