In order to improve the awareness amongst the farmers regarding soil and water health of their land 20 soil testing laboratories have been established in the state which provide free tests facilities to the farmers of all districts of the state under soil health programme.
A Soil & Water Testing Laboratory analyzes soil and water samples to assess their quality, fertility, and safety for agricultural, environmental, and public health purposes.
Government soil laboratory conducts a free of cost soil health test of the soil and issues soil health card
