The state government provides holistic development schemes for fishery industry as well as protecting the 405 km coastal line of the State of Gujarat. These schemes are aimed to improve the livelihood, security and welfare of the poor fisherman as well as fishing industry as a whole
Purchase of various equipment such as pump, inverter, CLF tube, solar electric lantern
Subsidy ranging from INR 8500 to INR 500 for purchase of following: 1) Inverter (INR 8500), 2) Electric water pump (INR 3000), 3) CLF tube (INR 500). In case of FRP boat, Solar electric lantern (INR 3500)
1) the applicant must get approval from relevant district office prior to purchase, 2) the applicant must be a resident of state of Gujarat, 3) The applicant must be an owner of a registered fishing vessel and should have fishing license, 4) The applicant must have Aadhar card. The applicant shall buy the equipment themselves from designated vendors only.
The applicant approval must be taken from relevant district office prior to application on Ikhedut. In addition, the applicant, along with duly filled application form must provide following details: 1) Fishing boat registration number, 2) Fishing license, 3) Proof of residence, 4) Aadhar Card
