The purpose of the **Mid-Day Meal Scheme** with the **WASH campaign** is to promote children's health and hygiene by encouraging handwashing with soap before meals, reducing the spread of infections, and improving overall nutritional outcomes.
Free soaps in all government schools in all toilets as well as WASH awareness material
All government schools in State are eligible under this programme
No application required as the scheme is already being implmented under MDM
Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport. Proof of Age: Birth Certificate or School Admission Record. Residential Proof: Electricity Bill, Water Bill, or Rental Agreement. Income Certificate: Issued by a competent authority (if applicable). Photographs: Passport-sized photographs of the student and the parent/guardian. School Enrollment Proof: A copy of the school admission or attendance record. Caste Certificate: For children belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC), if required. Parental Consent Form: Some regions may require a consent form signed by parents or guardians. Bank Account Details: If applicable for funds transfer or subsidies.
