The state government provides holistic development schemes for fishery industry as well as protecting the 405 km coastal line of the State of Gujarat. These schemes are aimed to improve the livelihood, security and welfare of the poor fisherman as well as fishing industry as a whole

Benefits

Up to 50% subsidy or max INR 7500 (whichever is low) for purchase of insulated box

Eligibility

1) the scheme benefit can be availed by fisher man or fish traders, 2) The insulated box shall only be purchased from standard company as designated by Government, 3) The scheme is only for insulated box of max. capacity 500 liters, 4) In case of Fish trader, they should have license for the same as per Gujarat Fishery Rule 2003
