In order to improve the farm extension services and improve the capacity, knowledge and skills of the farmers in regards to latest methods, tools and technology regarding farming, ATMA agency was established in each district.
Inspiration Tour
Exposure of farmers to best practices in agriculture and demonstration/visits
The farmers who are enrolled in the plan get a lot of knowledge about agriculture and also get information about modern and scientific methods of farming. For this, motivational tours are arranged. These tours are arranged in three main ways: outside the state, within the state and within the district. Tours are organized on topics such as agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry. The farmers are selected from the group according to the subject decided. All the arrangements for accomodation and transportation are made by the project director’s district office for the selected farmers.
