The scheme aims to provide educational loan at nominal interest rates for higher education of SEBC students
An educational loan for higher studies for SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) students is a financial assistance program aimed at supporting their pursuit of advanced education.
Educational loan up to max. INR 15 lakh @ 4% interest rate per annum for higher studies of SEBC students
1) the scheme is only for SEBC students studying in ITI, MSc, Medical/Engineering sciences for higher studies (post graduate studies), 2) The scheme is only for applicant whose household family income is less than INR 3 lakh per annum. However, more weightage will be given to the applicant who have household family income which is less than INR 1.5 lakh per annum
