The purpose of this scheme is to financially support SEBC, EBC, and Minority students to encourage them to pursue secondary education.
The scheme provides following benefits: 1) For Students of Std 1 to 8 - Annual scholarship of INR 500, 2) For students of Std 9 and 10 - Annual scholarship of INR 400, 3) For girls in Std 5 - Annual scholarship of INR 500, 4) For girls of Std 6 to 10 - Annual scholarship of INR 750
1) For scholarship for students in Std 1 to 8 there is no income criteria, 2) For std 9 and 10 the annual income of the family must be less than 120000 in rural areas and INR 150000 in urban areas
