Beneficiary Type: Student
The main objective of this scheme is to provide insurance coverage to students studying in all government, grant-in-aid primary schools, and Ashram schools in the state. Under this scheme, in the event of accidental death or permanent disability of a student studying in such schools, financial assistance is provided to the parents.
To provide financial protection to the families of students studying in government, grant-in-aid primary schools, and Ashram schools in case of the student's accidental death or permanent disability, ensuring social and economic support.
Rs 50,000/- in case of Death or Permanent disabilities
In cases of accidents that are unexpected, sudden, and unintentional, involving visible external violent means, assistance is provided in the event of death or permanent disability.

The claim must be submitted within 150 days from the date of accidental death/injury to the respective District Education Officer/District Primary Education Officer/Administrative Officer acting as the nodal officer of the concerned district.

For Beneficiary Identification: 7/12 extract, Farmer’s record, Agricultural laborer card, Certificate of being an unorganized worker, Certificate from Talati-cum-Labor Officer. Certificate from school, college, or ITI for students. Relevant beneficiary certificate from Sports & Cultural Department or Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board’s authorized officer. Other Required Documents: FIR Post-mortem report from an authorized medical officer. Death certificate from the Birth-Death Registration Officer. In cases of permanent disability, a certificate from the Civil Surgeon of the respective district or an authorized local medical officer. Proof of age, if required (there is no maximum age limit for beneficiaries under the insurance scheme). In exceptional cases where a post-mortem report is not possible, a certificate from the District Collector.
