The objective of the scheme is to aid poor farmers in sustaining their livelihood in case of accidental death of their livestock
To provide financial assistance to livestock owners for the accidental death of their animals.
Financial coverage for large and small animals from max. INR 16,400 (Cows) to INR 37 (For Ducks) per animal
The subsidy is applicable to any farmer owning livestock.However, only ACCIDENTAL Death is covered under this. Death due to disease is not applicable under this scheme.
