(widow pension) scheme in Gujarat aims to provide financial support to widowed women, enhancing their economic independence and dignity. By offering a monthly pension of ₹1,250, the scheme seeks to alleviate the financial challenges faced by widows, promoting their social inclusion and well-being.
Free training to widowed women for livelihood enhancement along with basic materials free of cost
The applicant must be: 1) Widowed Women, 2) Between age of 18 and 50 years of age

Aadhaar Card – for identity verification. Ration Card – to establish residency and family details. Proof of Widowhood – such as the husband's death certificate. Income Certificate – issued by the local authority, indicating annual family income. Proof of Age – birth certificate, school leaving certificate, or a medical officer's certificate if other documents are unavailable. Residence Proof – domicile certificate or utility bill. Bank Account Details – a copy of the passbook or bank statement for direct pension transfer. Photograph – recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
