The purpose of the **Mid-Day Meal Scheme** is to improve the nutritional status of children, increase school attendance, reduce dropout rates, and promote overall child development through the provision of free, nutritious meals.
Grant funding for Health camp awareness, yoga, counselling classes and free health clinics in primary schools
All government schools in State are eligible under this programme
No application required as the scheme is already being implmented under MDM
Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport. Proof of Age: Birth Certificate or School Admission Record. Residential Proof: Electricity Bill, Water Bill, or Rental Agreement. Income Certificate: Issued by a competent authority (if applicable). MaruGujarat.in Official Website Photographs: Passport-sized photographs of the student and the parent/guardian. School Enrollment Proof: A copy of the school admission or attendance record. Caste Certificate: For children belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC), if required. Parental Consent Form: Some regions may require a consent form signed by parents or guardians. Bank Account Details: If applicable for funds transfer or subsidies.
