To motivate the tribal law students to improve and remain in the law practice
The purpose of the Allowance to Tribal Graduates in Law is to provide financial support to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students who are pursuing a law degree. This assistance helps cover educational expenses, enabling them to complete their studies and contribute to the legal profession, especially in serving their communities.
Allowance to tribal law graduate freshers ranging from INR 1000 per month to INR 600 per month for mentorship under senior advocate
1) Any ST law student who has graduated in Law, 2) Who is applying within 2 years of graduation in law, 3) The ST student must be undergoing law practice, 4) The ST student should be working under an experienced advocate with atleast 7 years of practice experience
The application can be obtained and to be submitted to Assistance Manager of Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation at District level
