The state government provides holistic development schemes for fishery industry as well as protecting the 405 km coastal line of the State of Gujarat. These schemes are aimed to improve the livelihood, security and welfare of the poor fisherman as well as fishing industry as a whole
Purchase of insulated box, ordinary carry box, weighing box and lahri (FOR WOMEN)
Up to 50% subsidy on purchase of insulated box, ordinary carry box, lahri/rekdi and weighing scale (FOR WOMEN)
1) The applicant must be a women, 2) The applicant must have licene as per Fisheries Act 2003, 3) The purchased equipment/tools must be as per scheme guidelines , 4) The equipment shall be purchased from open market at standard cost

Aadhaar Card – For identity verification. Bank Account Details – For subsidy disbursement. Income Certificate – To assess eligibility based on income. Caste Certificate – To confirm Scheduled Tribe status. Photographs – Recent passport-sized photos. Address Proof – To confirm residence in the eligible region. Fishing License – If applicable, to verify engagement in fish vending activities.
