The unorganized labour of the State, due to their weak economic condition cannot incur very much expenditure for treatment of diseases when serious diseases like heart disease, cancer, paralysis, and disease of kidney are suffered by the members of their family. In such circumstances, with a view to providing social security to these unorganized rural labour, the provision of reimbursement of expenditure of treatment of such serious disease and necessary operation as well as medicines has been made by the State Government under this scheme
The purpose of providing financial assistance to rural laborers suffering from serious and malignant diseases is to ensure they can access necessary medical treatment, alleviate financial burdens, and support their families during times of health crises, especially when they lack adequate healthcare coverage or resources

The scheme can only b availed by rural labourer across Gujarat State.
The application has to be made to the District Labour Officer (Rural). After the scrutiny of the application, once it is approved, the beneficiary can avail be treated without any direct cost to beneficiary in any Government Hospital and designated Semi-Government Hospital.
The application form can be obtained from District Labour Offcer Office.
