The state government provides holistic development schemes for fishery industry as well as protecting the 405 km coastal line of the State of Gujarat. These schemes are aimed to improve the livelihood, security and welfare of the poor fisherman as well as fishing industry as a whole

Up to 90% subsidy on purchase of equipment such as net, cycle, insulated box, weighing device for small marginal fisherman

Eligibility

1) This scheme is applicable only in regions of sweet water coastal areas and specifically for marginal fishermans,2) The fisherman should have requisite license to avail benefits of the scheme, 3) The applicant shall purchase the equipment from GFCCA (Gujarat Fisheries Central Cooperative Society Association)
