The objective of this scheme is to build parks, recreational facilties and landscape in the rural areas for senior citizen, children and mothers for welfare and enjoyment.

The application has to be made by Gram Panchayat. The priority is given to high population villages and urban local bodies (small) having populatio exceeding 5000. Minimum 1000 sq meter of land which is earmarked for public purposes is required. The Panchayat has to pay INR 50,000 in terms of people's participation (either labor or finance) and against this, the Government shall provide financial assistance of INR 1 lac to the Panchayat.
There is no application form for this. The Gram Panchayat as to make a detailed plan with estimates and submit the same to Taluka Panchayat under this scheme.
