To support horticulture farmers in protecting their fruit crops from birds, pests, hailstorms, and harsh sunlight by providing financial assistance for protective nets or covers.
Reduce post-harvest losses, improve fruit quality, and ensure higher returns for farmers engaged in orchard farming.
Subsidy on purchase and installation of fruit covers / anti-bird nets / hail nets. Increased yield and better market price. Reduced damage from birds, insects and adverse weather.
Individual farmers / farmer groups / FPOs engaged in fruit cultivation. Must have a registered orchard or fruit crop area. Should not have availed subsidy for the same purpose in the last scheme period
