To prevent unnecessary expenses in society
The purpose of the BCK-57 Mai Ramabai Sat Fera Samuh Lagna Yojana is to promote affordable, mass weddings for economically disadvantaged families while reducing unnecessary wedding expenses.
Under this Scheme, Narmada Shree Nidhi Board shall be awarded as incentive for Rs.10,000/- shall be awarded to the couple getting married under the mass marriage program where minimum 10 couples get married. It has been resolved to pay cash assistance of Rs.2000/- per couple to the organization which organize Group Marriage Function for organizing the program. For organizing Group Marriage Functions with minimum 10 couples, the organizer will be paid incentive of Rs.2000/- per couple limited to maximum of Rs.50,000/-.
1) The applicant must be BPL, 2) The couple or atleast one person must be of SC caste, 3) They must get married in mass marriage function with minimum 10 marriages, 4) The income limit for applicant per annum must be less than INR 600,000 and INR 600,000 in urban areas
