The state government provides holistic development schemes for fishery industry as well as protecting the 405 km coastal line of the State of Gujarat. These schemes are aimed to improve the livelihood, security and welfare of the poor fisherman as well as fishing industry as a whole
Purchase of lifesaving emergency equipment/tools
50% subsidy on the purchase cost of varioys life saving equipment such as emergency lights, lifejackets and lifebuoy rings
1) The applicant must be resident of the State of Gujarat, 2) The applicant must have relevant fishing license and the boat must be registered fishing boat, 3) The applicant must have Aadhar card, 4) The equipment should be 'SOLAS' Standard and shoud be procured only from government empanelled agencies
