The Saint Surdas Scheme aims to provide financial assistance and support to visually impaired and disabled individuals for their empowerment and well-being.
Under this scheme, the beneficiary is eligible to receive a monthly assistance of ₹1000. The assistance is provided to the applicant through post or direct bank transfer (DBT).
1) The person must have more than 80% disability, (2) The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat State for more than 10 yers, (3) Must be holder of Disable identity card

Under this scheme, the applicant has to apply in the form prescribed by the office of the District Social Security Officer along with the necessary support and the benefit of this scheme has been made available in just one day through "E-Gram Kendras" under Digital Seva Setu from Digital Gujarat Portal.
