Objective

The purpose of educational loans for SEBC students is to ensure equal access to higher education, alleviate financial barriers, and empower students from socially and economically disadvantaged communities to pursue their academic and career goals.

Benefits

The scheme provides educational loan for higher education courses such as MBA, MSc, Medical Studies, Engineering studies and hotel management studies. The loan provided covers registration and admission fees, tuition fees, exam fees, lodging/boarding fees and insurance fees. The loan issued is up to limit of INR 15 lakh @ 4% interest rate per annum and applicant must contribute 5% of the total cost estimated.
