The purpose of providing financial assistance to artists from backward classes is to empower them with the tools and opportunities needed to develop their skills, preserve culture, and promote social and economic inclusion through art.
Financial assistance of INR 5000 for pursuing skills in arts field for students (SEBC/EBC/OBC)
1) The applicant must have an annual household income of less than INR 1,20,000 for the rural areas and INR 1,50,000 for the urban areas, 2) The applicant must be linked to arts sector/skill
